Cabozantinib is used in the treatment of liver cancer, kidney cancer and thyroid cancer.

How Cabozantinib works?
Cabometyx is used to treat advanced kidney cancer, sometimes in combination with another medicine called nivolumab. Cabometyx is also used to treat liver cancer in people who have been previously treated with sorafenib.

How should I take Cabozantinib ?
You should take Cabozantinib exactly as directed by your doctor. It should be started by doctors who have experience in administering cancer medicines. Take it once a day with or without food. Do not drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit during your treatment with Cabozantinib , as the chances of side effects may be more.
What should I do if I forget a dose?
If you miss a dose of Cabozantinib by less than 12 hours, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it and then take the next dose at the scheduled time. However, if you miss a dose by more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
In case of emergency/overdose
In case of overdose, call the poison control helpline. If the victim has collapsed, had a seizure, has trouble breathing, or can't be awakened, immediately call a doctor.
